Wasting paper with printouts - why?

Hi all,
        can anyone tell me why ,when I print off a copy of my tree on Ancestry, my printer allways puts out an almost blank sheet first ?

Hi bigjon

When we print a tree, we found that if you choose the page numbers with the details on you cut out the blank pages otherwise our printer will do all the pages regardless of whether there are any details on them or not. Have a look at print preview first.
