Birth/Baptism - Edith Emma GLASSCOCK

Hi
Could someone look up the birth of Edith Emma Glasscock and let me know her parents details please as I have a feeling I may have been working the wrong family!

She was registered in the quarter Apr/May/June 1889 in Furneaux Pelham, Bishops Stortford. I have a feeling her actual birth date was 18 June 1889 but not sure.

Hi Barbara

The only way to find out GRO birth details is to buy a copy of the certificate I'm afraid.  However her baptismal entry on the VRI does give her birthdate.  This is uncommon so you are very fortunate, and you were correct about the date!

Edith Emma GLASSCOCK, born 18th June 1889, baptised 11 August 1889 - Furneaux Pelham
Parents; John William & Sarah Ann GLASSCOCK.

This couple appear to have married in Royston Registration District.

Just to add to Ricks reply, the parish record shows John William as a bailiff residing at Furneaux Pelham.
