What sort of period LM?

I have a map of the area from between the wars and a quick look suggests Holy Trinity on Barking Road would be the most likely

East of London Family History Society have this list for Canning Town -

http://www.eolfhs.org.uk/parish/canning_town.htm

There is a lot about the various parishes in the area in this section of the History of the County of Essex online at

http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=42761

Cheers

Thank you for your reply Sue, I am looking from about 1900 to 1911 , on 1911 they are living in Ordnance Road Canning Town, I want to check up on a baptism  of a child who doesn't appear to be registered circa 1903.

Hope you find what you are after - I can't get SEAX to work at the moment - but the Family Search site suggests they have microfilms of the Registers from 1863-1948 that they filmed from the originals at ERO

Hopefully you are a bit closer to Chelmsford than I am these days!!
