The Thames Treasury is opening soonnnnnnnnnn  Grin

A vast amount of resources for Thames and the founding families will be available

If you have connections to Thames, or just want to join the application form is there

on the above page is link to the Pioneer form if you have family and want to fill one out. SOme names of latest families donated are listed here also.

The newsflash says that it will be open approx 3 days a week

It's good that the whole Coromandel is covered as I have ancestors in both Mercury Bay and Puriri, near Thames.

1900 and 1902.

Just been for a visit.
Lots of goodies eg. all the Hills Indexes, not just Thames Volume.
Loads family trees/pioneer forms/certificates...donations gratefully received if you have any thames certs etc..
All the NZSG branch info, fiches, CD's for overseas. The old gazettes, growing collection of books.

Usual paper and pencil in reading room. Large reading table and power for laptops. Computers for CD's, no memory sticks. Internet coming.
