1851 Abbey Farm. Nettleton.Alfred Ward not married aged 23 a farmer employing 6 men and 2 boys, who was born in Bath. Living with his dad Samuel a seedsman, aged 62 and Mum Mary aged 58. Dad born Notts. Mum born Devizes. HO 107 1836

1841 Ive got a Samuel (seedsman) aged 55 living with Mary aged 45 in New Bond Street, Bath St Michael. Samuel and Mary not born in county. (Somerset). They have what looks like 'Robert Ch' aged 15 living there too…He is born in county. HO 107 969 5

1841 They also had a servant...Harriet Hatton aged 15.
Oh and I missed out Anne Gilmore their 23 year old female farm servant in 1851. She was a dairymaid.
Abbey farm was 170 acres by the way. Quite a biggy! He came a long way from a seedsman son in 10 years!

I also note the marriage you mention is only listed as submitted information so would certainly need to be verified.

Looking at their marriages both had the middle name of Christie
Robert Christie WARD = Phoebe Maria WILLIAMS Dec 1/4 1853 Haverford West 11a 1177
He is in Clifton Gloucs in 1861 - a seed and hop merchant
Thomas BEAVEN = Mary Christie WARD Sep 1855 Bath 5c 994
She is in Heytesbury Wiltshire in 1861 (BEVAN) - Thomas is a farmer of 569 acres
