Hello,

I wonder if someone can help?

I have been looking for details of a marriage between James Ryan and Bridget Gallagher.

I have been able to gain access to the 1911 census, where the family are in West Derby, Liverpool.

Both James and bridget are apparently County meath born and were married in abt 1866.
James was born abt 1840 and Bridget abt 1851, this makes Bridget particularly young for marriage!?

Previously I have traced them in the 1891 and 1901 census in west Derby aswell.

I would be grateful for any help.

Full Civil registration started in Ireland in 1864, familysearch have an BMD index available at this link : http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=2;t=searchable;c=1408347

Non-Catholic marriages were registered from 1845. If you find a possible match on the index you can order a cert by post from the GRO - see www.groireland.ie
