Baptism lookup - DILL(E)Y -Wootton

I have checked the IGI myself but can not find a baptism for Thomas Dilly/Dilley.

I have been advised by BLARS that his marriage in Houghton Conquest on 26 Feb 1733 says "Thomas DILLEY,  was of the parish of Wootton, and Elizabeth COOK of the parish of Houghton Conquest"

'Bedfordshire boy' from this forum has been a great help with this family who subsequently settled in Wilstead. 

I would appreciate if some one who has access to any records could do a lookup to see if they could find any information on Thomas.

There are no Dilly baptisms in Wootton by Bedford. At the time of his marriage he was resident of Wootton, which doesn't necessarily mean he was born there.

I'm afraid that this latest piece of information doesn't help much in determining which Thomas it was who settled in Wilstead. The possibilities remain as before - either the Campton one or the Clifton one, or possibly even one who wasn't baptised for whatever reason. It's not been firmly established that it was the Houghton Conquest couple who settled in Wilstead - there's still the chance it could have been Thomas Dilly and Elizabeth Barber who married in Southill. I've spent many hours puzzling over the Southill Dillys but as some of them appear to have been non-conformist and didn't baptise their children I've been unable to separate them.
