re banardas homes
« on: Saturday 05 September 09 08:30 UTC (UK) »

I am wondering where to find a list of helpers from scotland who worked in the Dr Banardas homes in Canada during the early 1900s .

One of my ancestors a Annie waddell Millar worked there ,I heard of her taking the children from British Isles over to camps there.

I just googled Barnardos Canada, lot of information there...It looks like a little effort might give you the answers you're seeking.  Grin

Hi Carol,

What year was Annie born?  She should be on the passenger lists if she was helping to bring the children over.
