Perkinsand Carter families in Little Baddow ,Purleigh and Woodham Walters`

Anyone researching Eliza Perkins(from Woodham) and Thomas Carter (from Purleigh)will be interested in this info I got from the History Centre in Little Baddow.
How did they meet?
One possibility :-The Perkins family lived at Burnt House Woodham W . When the house was sold ,Local builders,Joseph & JohnGozett  aquired part of that land. Most of the new houses accomodated farm workers but some were rented by journeymen tradesmen. Elizas father William was an Ag Lab . The Gozett business employed 7 carpenters,2 bricklayers 1 joiner 5 labourers and 1 apprentice carpenterand a carter.
Thomas was a carpenter--I wonder if he was one of those above --in which case Eliza woiuld have been on hand so to speak. The dates fit in well with their marriage in 1854 in the lacal church.
