Hi Louise,
Can you be a bit more specific - there are several in Islington/Shoreditch (adjoin) in the 1861 census.
Do you have christian names or ages?
Let me know

Hi Sue,

I am looking for a Montague Kelley married to Emma. There may be a Mary who would be under 1 years old. Montague may be a cricket bat maker. He could be under Kelly or even Killey. I am also looking for a Ebenezer Kelley or variants. They are in Cottenham Road in 1871. Are there surname indexes for London? Any help you could give would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Louise

Hi Louise on the 1881 UK census CD  there is a Montague Kelley living in London  with his siblings and widowed mother.

If you'd like to contact me I'll forward the record.

Regards
Shirley

Can you not post the record on these boards? If it is on the census cd - why not cut and paste it into this thread?

Hi Louise,
The 1861 census for London that I have is only partial as it has not all been transcribed as yet.
I found a Mary Kelly aged 1 but no Montague or Emma, so that doesn't fit.
There is a family of Killey at St Giles in the Fields but not for your christian names.
I will keep a note of the names as I am transcribing and if I come across them will let you know.  I only have mot of Shoreditch and one section of Southwark that I have done and they are not in that area.   Sorry, Sue
