Although the 1851 census gives Francis SPIVEY's place of birth as Eversholt this is probably incorrect.  In 1841 he is shown as being born 'out of county' and in 1881 and 1891, when he is living with his wife Caroline in Westmoreland Street, Marylebone) he gives his place of birth as Islington, Middlesex.  In 1881 and 1891 he is listed as Frank not Francis.

It also appears that he married his first cousin, Caroline SPIVEY, in 1875 (Marylebone Registration District).  Caroline was one of the daughters of Joseph SPIVEY (see topic Joseph SPIVEY in 1851 census).

Is this the same Francis Spivey who married Hannah Measures at St Giles Cripplegate on 15 Oct 1854 (per IGI)?

In 1871 he's living at Marylebone as Frank H Spivey 38 b Islington with wife Caroline 22 b Battlesden Beds (they don't appear to have married until 1875)

Don't know if it is the same Francis.  If so, then there should be a death for a Hannah SPIVEY but I didn't find one on FreeBMD.  Also unable to find Francis and/or Hannah in 1861.
