The 1851 census has Joseph SPIVEY's correct birthplace of Eversholt. Beds. He was a son of Richard and Elizabeth SPIVEY and baptised on 25 Jun 1803. Their other children (from the IGI) were:
25 Dec 1793 Elizabeth - she married Benjamin LINE at Eversholt 14 Oct 1825 26 Jun 1796 Mary Ann 1 Jul 1798 William 25 Jun 1803 James - in 1861 he is in St George, Hanover Square 21 Nov 1805 Frances Ann 2 Apr 1809 Richard 1811 Sarah 10 Apr 1814 Edward - in 1861 he is in Great Hallingbury, Essex 25 May 1817 Eliza
Joseph married Mary POWELL at Milton Bryant, Beds on 13 Aug 1821 and, secondly, Elizabeth SHOULLER at Battlesden on 26 Jun 1826. In 1851 there are two SHOULLER families in Battlesden/Potsgrove. The first is headed by Amram SHOULLER, aged 67, born Oxfordshire. He is with Elizabeth, aged 66, also born Oxfordshire. The second family is also headed by Amram SHOULLER. He is aged 40 and was born in Oxfordshire. His wife is named Elizabeth, aged 43, born Hockliffe, Beds, and they have four children - Joseph aged 16 born Hockliffe, William aged 10 born Potsgrove, Thomas aged 7 born Potsgrove, and Emma aged 5 born Potsgrove. Joseph SPIVEY's wife is probably a daughter of the elder Amram SHOULLER and sister to the younger.

Hi
I wonder whether Joseph mentioned Woburn as his birthplace as it was the registration district for Eversholt and Battlesden.
