My mother Helen Eunice Edwards was b in Easington, chilton in 1904 to Frank & Emily Edwards Frank was s of John & Sarah Edwards... John thr S of Alfred Edwards who m  Hannah Watts.
Alfred was b in 1812 at Chilton...but no entry in the parish regsiter (I think the page may be missing as a new book starts in 1813)... I think he may be the son of Joseph Edwards who m Rebecca Shirley in 1806

Does anyone have any information that could confirm thsi link please ?

A new form of parish register was used in 1813.
That's so why many registers begin at that date.
