Looking for anything on the parents of Alex. He married Christen/Christian Sinclair in 1748 in Wick. Any help greatly appreciated.

There are a few possible baptisms for him.

Do you have a list of their children in birth order?  If they used the traditional naming conventions, it might be possible to narrow down possible parents.

I'm having problems with SP at the moment so can't do any checking  Undecided

12 March 1716 son of William Couper
10 June 1722 son of Alexander Couper

Watten
19 April 1725 son of Andrew Cowper

13 Sept 1719 son of Donald Cupper

The only child that I can definitely identify as theirs  on SP is:

Canisbay 15 March 1764 - Charlot d/o Alexander Coupar and Christian Sinclair

There is a Helen bpt Wick 20 Dec 1750 d/o Alexander Cowper but no mother given.

Also Janet bpt Olrig 13 June 1759 d/o Alexander Couper. Again no mother's name given.
