Hi there,
I am not sure if this is the correct board for posting, but i am looking for the following family:
Jean Martin married Marie Jacquette Priole in France. They had a son, Jean born about 1735 in Lorient, Morbihan, Bretagne, France. He is next seen marrying Marguerite Plisson in 1763 in Port Louis, Mauritius.
Who would i contact to find the marriage between Jean and Marie Jacquette and to see whether they had any other children besides their son Jean.
The above information i found on the geneanet site where Henri Maurel had a tree. I have tried contacting him, but the site will not allow me to access him.
Can anyone help?

Thank you so much for oferring to help. Don't worry about your english, my french is nowhere as good as your english.
I need someone to perhaps look in the parish records for the marriage of Jean Martin and Marie Jacquette Priole, or a burial for either one. Perhaps a baptism for any children of these two people.
If you can help me here i would really appreciate it.

Françoise batism the 27 may 1937
Gabriel batism the 10 november 1739
Claudine batism the 3 februar 1744
Jeanne batism the 6 september 1746
Joseph batism the 13 august 1741

I have read his site (geneanet)
Really, the first son of Jan Martin and Marie Jacquette Priol was Jean, born in 1735, died the 5 june 1787 and married with Marguerite Plisson.

Hi SUP,
This is wonderful. Thank you again. I have tried to get hold of Henri Maurel too, but no such luck yet. As i do not speak French, would you be able to tell me what it says on the marriage certificate pertaining to the parents of Jan Martin and their occupations if any given.
Also on the baptism for Jean Martin, does it say what the occupation was of the father?
