Hello from new Zealand!
I am still new to the Wiltshire sides of my family ... The Sheppard's and the Saunders.
Tom Sheppard b 1857 was born in Fielding Wiltshire.
Fielding does not appear on any of my maps and typing in the word 'Fielding in Wiltshire' gives back no clues from the internet. Can any one enlighten me with a general idea for a parish, reg. district, sub district or ecclesiastical district, please?
I am having difficulty defining his whereabouts in census and marriage information, there are so many variables. I love to problem solve for myself but I am stuck with this one.

Sorry! I haven't got my glasses on and between replies I nipped out to collect child 3 of 4 from a girl guide gathering.
