It's that time of year again!

I am trying to find the marriage of
Herbert Price born c1884 in Wem Salop
and Ethel ? born c 1887 in Coppenhall Cheshire
All I know about Ethel is from the 1911 census she has been married for 2 years therefore has a marriage date of 1909. She was born in Coppenhall Cheshire in 1887. There is a son, John, born Dec 1910 in New Ferry and aged 5 months. Ethel died in 1962 and is buried in Crewe cemetery.
I have found a marriage :
Herbert Price and Ethel Cooke Dec 1908 Nantwich (8a 585)
But I cannot find a birth for Ethel.
Herbert was a Police Constable and aged 27 and possibly working in the New Ferry area (their address is in New Ferry Road). He died in 1938 and is also buried in Crewe with his wife.
I am now going to go through th GRO index but if anyone has a better idea........... I would love to hear.

I have just found Ethel Cooke born Sep 1886 under Nantwich. Would Nantwich cover Coppenhall? It now clicks that their marrige was registered in Nantwich! Any opinions, please
