Marriage Record early 1800's - Hook - Completed

I'm trying to find the marriage of
Henry Hook (b. 1786 Kidford, Sussex d. 1858 Midhurst, Sussex), gardener
to Susan (b. 1785 d. 1858 Midhurst, Sussex)
so that I can find out her surname.
They had one child as far as I know, Frederick b. 1818.
In the 1841 census they lived at Tillington, Sussex.
Can anyone help or point me in a direction to find the information I need. Thanks

First of all welcome to Rootschat and especially the Sussex Boards - one of the best

Saying that; I have just checked with the Sussex Marriage Index and there is not a Henry Hook marrying a Susan listed at all between 1594 and 1837 in Sussex.

Maybe they married on the other side of the border in Kent?
