death look up for Clewes - ON

I am trying to find the death of 2 Clewes:
Hugh Clewes b. 1880 and we think died in 1889 and his sister Ethel Mae (who sometimes went by the name of Edith!) b. 1882.

Hugh was born May 6 1880 and was a twin to George who died in 1920.

Ethel was born May 14, 1882 - was married to Edgar Burnett in 1902 and there we lose her.

Both are from Ontario.

Any help is grately appreciated!

Hugh is on the 1881 census with his family but not on the 1891 census. The only record I could find was a death in Toronto York #022268 for Hugh Morton Clews born Toronto North died April 23, 1886 at 5 years 11 months of age. Cause congestion of lungs. Informant was the doctor and no parents were given.

The age does tie in with the birth month of May.

Edgar Oley Burnett, s/o James Edgar and Willemina Fuller, married Jessie Irene Hendry 6 Dec 1919 at Toronto, York. These are the same parents given on the marriage of Edgar Burnett to Ethel/Edith in 1902. He does claim to be a bachelor, not a widower.

There is a record of Edgar O Burnett, 38, aeroengineer, crossing July 1919 at Buffalo, N.Y. going to Miami Florida. He gives his nearest relative as father James E. Burnett of 305 Jarvis St. Toronto.

There is a record of Ethel M. burnett, 29, b. Toronto, crossing into the US at Buffalo Feb 1916. The record is grainy and I can't make out the destination or nearest Canadian relative given. Perhaps your Edith/Ethel perhaps not. At least her death is narrowed to between 1902-Dec 1919.
