Walker's Burntwood Area
« on: Thursday 10 September 09 11:55 UTC (UK) »

Hi all,

I have an interest in a "Walker" family descended from James Walker b. 1819 and Sarah Sandland b. 1820.

I know about some descendants but was wondering if anyone with access to census records 1901 onwards could throw light on the following:

Elijah Walker b. 1853, I know nothing of him.
Amelia Walker b. 1853 m Joseph Webster 1878, had a daughter Emma on 1881 census.
Eunice Walker b. 1853 m Joseph Pickering 1900.

Any info would be welcome

Many thanks.

Many thanks for your help.

I assume Elijah never married. I can't see any record of a marriage.

Thanks for children of Amelia. I will wait have to wait for 1911 census for children of Eunice.

Again, thanks.

Tips for searching the 1911 index are here

You should be able to sort out any children without paying

No pickering births with mums maiden name Walker in the index (in Staffordshire)
but could well have had some before 1911ish when the maiden name statred being shown in the index - esp in view of their age.

She is transcribed as Ennice Pickering living in Lichfield district in 1911 index but there is no sign of any children on the index just her husband.  Roll Eyes
