Hello

Looking for any information regarding William Ball Sage born approx 1848 Walcot Somerset, England.

Parents names   Stephen Sage and Sarah Painter.

I have found him in the census for 1851, 1861, 1871.

I have not been able to find him after 1871.

His mother had remarried by 1891 to Thomas Wurton Bane  - William is listed as stepson

I saw a William Sage - Coachman - in the 1901, married to an Emily  ... but hadnt been able to work him back !

Ta, he's indexed 1891 on one site as surname SAFE  Roll Eyes

image definitely Sage, not sure about the Sees either, could be surname Lee

William is not with the Banes in 1881 though, haven't found him yet

well, I wasnt sure when I found it, but your find in 1891 with the COACHMAN occupation makes it a possible..... also as he couldnt be seen with that DoB and PoB in earlier years reinforces.

I'm off now, so will re-search later unless its been done.
