where is Heughhead, Penicuick

Had a HEADRIDGE die there in 1911

I cannot find it on the maps

she was buried in Penicuik in the
cemetery up Kirkhill from the Peebles road.

I would go for Haughhead.    There is a Haughhead Farm across the Pentland Hills at Balerno and also a Haughead Road.     However in my ignorance I would say that it is the name of a house in Penicuik as in "Gowanbank, Oakleaf Eskbridge, Beeslack Cottage and Old Town Broxburn" and possibly in connection with Archibald's profession as in "Haughhead Junction".

THAANK YOU. Yes I see Haughead fARM
near the A70 and an airodrome.

The death record is clear Penicuik
so perhaps like ypu say it was a house.
