Amy Jones married William Joseph Smith in Hartford near to Northwich, Cheshire. They had four children named Charles, Robert, Evelyn & Margaret who were raised in the family home in Northwich.
If anyone is looking into this family I would be most grateful if you would contact me please.
Amy was the sister of my maternal grandfather & I am having trouble discovering what became of all of the family.

Hi Kathb,
The only date that I know for certain is that Amy Jones was born in Birmingham in 1895.
The surname Jones has made my search very difficult & I have just been told the new info about her marrying a gentleman with the surname of Smith!
This new info is not proven though as yet -- that's why I thought that I would enquire whether there was anyone else out there researching the same family.

Trefan, if you don't have this it is on Cheshire BMD for 1919
William J Smith to Amy K Jones at Hartford St John
You can order the certificate on line at Cheshire BMD and this will hopefully give you more information
I will see if I can see the children

Trefan, I won't spoil your fun - but it certainly looks as if the children of Amy and William are on the Cheshire bmd site as well if you have a look.
I am not sure if you know the registration districts but Hartford is in Cheshire West and it will save you looking through loads of Smiths if you use this in the drop down menu.
Dont' rule out any children registered in Weaverham as they may have gone there to register.
