Could SKS please provide me with the Census entry for Robert CANDEY (or possibly CANDY) born about 1837, in or around Tiverton in 1871?
I believe his wife's name was Mary or Mary Ann, and I suspect they will have a son named James aged about 2 with them.
Many thanks for help with this lookup.
Kind regards
Phil Candy

Many thanks Wendy.
It would be great if you could find Robert in 1861 and 1851 just so I can prove his ancestry going backwards. This is definitely the right person, though, so thanks a lot for the lookup.
I'm hoping that he will prove to be a sone of James and Mary CAND(E)Y and it would be great to find them in 1851 and 1861.
Kind regards and thanks
Phil

Many thanks Wendy.
This allows me to track Robert from 1841 right through to 1881.
It was especially clever to find him hiding under the abbreviation of Rt, since I think this is why he had been difficult to track down previously.
I really appreciate your help - thanks a lot.
Phil
