looking for any info on alexander lambie of stevenson,he was a thatcher
had daughter
jane frew lambie-who died as a result of accident at stevenson railway station 1877
think he was married twice -jeanie thomson

Larky,  an old Scots ballad, "Lord Fyvie had a trumpeter his name was Andrew Lambie" not much help I know but thought it might be of interest!......Skoosh.

Alexander Lambie was the son of John Lambie & Barbara Smith. His father John was also a thatcher and was the ploughman that disturbed the nest of mice that inspired Robert Burns 'Ode To A Mouse'
