hi all i am trying to find any descendants of annie and arthur davies, who
lived at 42 marsh lane nantwich. arthur died 1960 and annie 1968.
i have a copy of annie's death cert and the address given as place of death is
10 hillewood avenue,whitchurch also the name of informant is c.s. staley
the riddings,tushingham,whitchurch.
i would like to discover more about annie's life before she married arthur
davies in 1927.

Brian, Do you have a copy of Annie and Arthurs wedding certificate to pick up Annie's maiden name? You could then work back from 1911 census to track Annie's history.

Arthur DAVIES m. Annie WINSKILL, Sep qtr 1927. (Nantwich 8a 936)
An Annie DAVIES died in Whitchurch district, Mar qtr 1968 aged 82 - is that the correct death? (If so, she was about 42 when she married.)
I can see a WINSKILL family living in Nantwich on the 1911 census index, but there isn't an Annie with them.

hi kathb,
i have a copy of annie and arthurs marriage cert, and i know all
about annies ancestry. what i am hoping to find is,any living descendants
who could be related to the two witnesses named on this marriage cert
[fred and lillie davies]. the are surely arthur davies's brother and sister and
mabye there children will remember annies life before she married arthur.
