Hi there, Im looking to see if i can find more out about the family of Richard H (most likely to be henry) Griffiths and his wife Lucy Knowles, both are born 1912, robert in wolverhampton, Lucy in Kiddieminster, it appears from freebmd they married in wolverhampton, in 1912, and Lucys maiden name appears to Cresse. Lucy died somewhere around 1990, 10 years either side lol( well im 38! gettin old!my memorys not what it was LOLOL)

There is the Birth of a Robert H Griffiths in the Wolverhampton Registration District on the April quarter of 1912.The Mother's maiden name is given as Richards.The GRO Reference is Volume 6b Page 1026.

Well the marriage for ROBERT H Griffiths is to Lucy S Knowles if its the one in 1942.
Death for Lucy Sophia Griffiths
Wolverhampton reg district, West Midlands in May 1993
But the date of birth is 6 May 1917
Dist No 0771D Reg No D41A Entry No 007 DOR 0593

LOL and.. "oops".. lol yes My mistakes... yes lucy knowles mother is cresse 
And yes Robert H is born 1912, his mom was Polly Richards...
so now I want to find out more of Lucy... (I never knew Robert (moms Uncle Robbie).. but I knew Lucy, as much as to speak to, but not much more:( )
so now Id like to find out more about her, her family... I now know that robert and lucy had no children, so now Im wanting to find out more about Lucy... and her family and all i have to go on so far is that Lucy was born Lucy Knowles in 1912 and her mothers name was cresse

OK, so do I have the right marriage for Robert and Lucy S Knowles in 1942?
If so the death I have in 1993 of a Lucy S Griffiths could also be her but it gives a birth date of 6th May 1917.....there is a birth registration for a Lucy S Knowles June qtr 1917 mothers maiden Name Littleford - Bridgnorth reg dist 6a 818 
Do you have evidence that it was Lucy with a mothers maiden name Cresse?

Which would appear right because of the H, in Robert H (his father was William Henry)
1993 does sound about right for her death tho yes, like I say I cant rememebr the exact year, but it was around then so yes that sounds right:)
I dont have evidence that she was born 1912 apart from freebmd again with this...

looks like we have a lil more evidence for bridgnorth too, i mentioned it to my mom and the first thing she said was "lucy had relatives in bridgnorth"... but she cant remember who
