Woolwich Baptism look-up
« on: Wednesday 16 September 09 01:30 UTC (UK) »

Hi,

I'm looking for children of Alfred James & Charlotte Smith (possibly Read before marriage)married 1871 Kensington - so far with the help of census records I've found the following children all born in Woolwich -

Ada Alice Smith 1872
Thomas Henry Smith 1874
Alfred James Smith 1876
Ruth Mary Smith 1878
Sidney John Smith 1881

There maybe other children that were born and died between census records - any help will be so much appreciated - I have found the above children on the 1881 census, if thats of any help.

Hi

Your issue would be which church in Woolwich - non-conformist or one of the Anglican churches

Hi Reeveh

Do these tie in with what you have from the census?

St Thomas Woolwich

1874, Sept 27 both on same day

Ada Alice (parents) Alfred James & Charlotte Smith (abode) Prospect Place (Quality, Trade or Profession) Telegraph Worker

and Thomas Henry with the same details

1876, Dec 31

Alfred James, same parents, of 14 Prospect Place, same QTP
