I used to think genealogy was the study of genies.

Could someone with access to Welshpool parish registers please try to find the following for me?
First, the marriage of Richard Rider and Mary Edwards, which I believe took place on 16 Aug 1814. Any info from the marriage entry, particularly regarding Mary's father, would be very helpful.
Then, if the marriage entry does give any clues regarding Mary's father, would it be possible to find her baptism entry at Welshpool around 1794 and see what information that gives regarding her parents? The estimated birth year is derived from the 1851 census on which Mary is shown as age 57 (living with husband Richard, also 57, in Welshpool).

As it's by licence you could get a copy of the marriage bond from the National Library.
