Seeking JOHN HENRY BARNES - a GWR Telegraph Linesman
« on: Thursday 17 September 09 10:20 UTC (UK) »

I am seeking information regarding JOHN HENRY BARNES and his wife CHARLOTTE nee BROADHURST.

John Henry was born 1866 in Gloucester (parents John and Frances). He married Charlotte Broadhurst born 1870 in Hurstbourne Tarrant Hants. Charlotte` parents were John and Sarah Jane.

The 1901 census shows John Henry and Charlotte living in Reading with twins LILLIAN MAUD and CHARLOTTE ANN (age 3) and FLOSSIE ELIZABETH age 2 months.  Two older boys ARTHUR JOHN age 7 and WILLIAM HENRY age 5 were with their grandparents in South Wales.

John Henry was a GWR Telegraph Linesman and in 1911 the family were living in Uxbridge Middlesex.

If anyone can help me glean further information I would be extremely grateful.
