SHIPWRECK GOODWIN SANDS

I am looking for information about the circumstances in which a relative FREDERICK BONE was lost at sea on Brake Sands in late 1852.  Could somebody please advise where I should look for this information?  He had just married Mary Frances Bussey in the December qtr. 1852 in Thanet.

Otherwise Local Record Office, Maritime Museum Greenwich, National Archives, Lloyds list, Local Newspaper, are places to see if they have any records.

Ship records tend to be dotted around, and not a great deal have survived. But you may be lucky and be able to piece bits together.
