samuel parker/ marriage cert leading to birth cert maybe

Could someone please confirm the marriage of samuel parker and mary grieve.
I believe it was in Hawick, Roxburghshire in 1846/47. I am trying to find samuels
parents so that I can find out more about where he came from and who he is related
to. I have managed to find him and his family after that date, so that part is ok.

just that he was shown as being born at   staffordshire ,england   in a census. John

What leads you to a Scottish marriage? Are they in Scotland after marriage? Were children born Scotland?

If it is details about the Scottish amrriage you are after, it might be worth asking a Mod to transfer this to a Scottish Board.

If you want us to look for his birth (though you can look on FreeBMD yourself for free) then do give us all the info you have about him eg al the census ref numbers.
