can anyone give me the parents of jane welsh born abt 1870 in Mullingar Baronston Ballynacarrigy, County West, Ireland.
she married patrick heduvan born 3 sept 1865 from the same place. he also died in Mullingar Baronston Ballynacarrigy, County West, Ireland abt 1929. this is all i know

Hi this is them in the 1911 Census

Patrick Hedivan and Jane Walsh 1911 Census

And also most likely Patrick's mother and siblings

Abbigail Hedivan 1911 Census

According to the census Jane Walsh/Welsh was born in Co.Leitrim.

They were married in Leitrim in 1898 the details are as follows

Patrick Hedivan and Jane Walsh
Quarter: Apr-Jun 1898
Registration District: Mohill, Co.Leitrim
Volume 3 Page 171

You can order the marriage certificate from www.groireland.ie

You can get a photocopy for four euro once you include the above information.

I usually include the volume and page number in the date section.

And the registration district will do as an address.

I could only find one Jane Walsh/Welsh in 1876 born in Mohill Registration District

Details of birth are below and you can order same way as marriage record

The marriage of Patrick Hedivan and Jane Walsh is on there in 1898 Carrigallen Roman Catholic Parish. There is a chance that this will list both parents of the groom and bride. Wheras Civil Registration Record will only have the father's names and you will be waiting well over a month for the record from GRO.

Also on the site is the birth of Jane Walsh in 1876 in Carrigallen Roman Catholic Parish.

So for 10 euro you should have alot of the mystery solved.

Carrigallen is around 40 miles North of Baronstown.
