Hello

I am trying to find the maiden name of my ancestor's mother. His name was William Whatton/Watton and he was born in approx 1817 in Bilston. His mother and father were William and Elizabeth.

I would also like to find the first marriage of William (the son). I know he also married an Elizabeth, and in the 1841 census they were living in Steelhouse Lane, Wolverhampton.

Because your info is the same.You might find a marriage of his parents as well if they married in Stafford.
