Hi,

Would it be possible for somebody some information in the Turville, Buckinghamshire, Parish Records for me?

According to censuses John Rose was born around 1804 in Turville.  His father was called Joseph and was himself born in Henley Oxfordshire.

I would like to know John Rose's baptism, the name of his mother, his parents marriage, whether he had any siblings etc.  In short, anything anyone is willing to tell me  Smiley

Hi Theresa,

I only have Turville marriages - and the marriage didn't take place there. I'm afraid I can't help you with John's baptism.

However, I also have the PRs for Henley St Mary (Oxfordshire FHS CD) and there's a Joseph Rose baptised Sep 15 1782, son of Joseph & Rebecca. The only sibling I can find baptised there is John - Aug 6 1780 s/o Joseph & Rebecca.

There is also this marriage:

Oct 30 1779 Joseph Rose x otp widower & Rebecca Collins x otp spinster
Witnesses: John Hobson, Edward Hearne.

Have you considered requesting a Buckinghamshire FHS Baptism search for the surname Rose? They're very reasonable and you can do the whole thing online?
