Hard work !!! COMPLETED

Hi  Smiley

I must say, I am finding it very difficult to research my Scottish roots. When I started looking into my Durham, Lancashire and Cheshire family trees, I trawled round loads of various sites and found loads of info for free, even though the surnames I was looking for weren`t particularly rare. But I feel as if I`m going round in circles here. I don`t have a subscription to any of the big sites, but previously used pay per view and FreeBMD, which was brilliant (so much so, that I decided to volunteer to be a transcriber) so why is there no comprehensive Scottish BMD?

Just a little moan and whinge. I feel much better now.   Grin
