No more Drouin??

I may be way behind the curve here, but does anybody know why the Drouin collection is gone?

And why Ancestry didn't even bother to say so on its intro page? I just spent 20 minutes banging my head on the desk before doing a Google search for it. Found an Ancestry page that says it's "temporarily unavailable".

When I enquired why the Drouin collection was no longer available online ancestry replied
"We are assessing our rights to this content."

Apparently it's back tomorrow- they breached the rules of publishing it,by not providing an index within a certain timeframe(see Ancestry blog).

Here's what they said on Friday....

" We are pleased to have resolved all issues relating to our use and access to the Drouin Collection. The existing Drouin collection will be available on Ancestry.com (and other Ancestry international properties) on Monday, September 21."

lol! thought I was going mad trying to look for it on Ancestry!

Typical the one day I find a couple of Canadian births in my tree  and need to check for baptisms and its gone   Roll Eyes
