Marriage look-up Newton Abbot

Hi!

Could someone do a marriage look-up for Edward Wright to Charlotte Dewdney in Newton Abbot in December 1862.

Unfortunately other than Wright's early death three years later in December 1865 in Penzance, Cornwall, I do not have any more information about him

On every census Charlotte was Church of England, and her second husband was an Anglican minister, so I am assuming (always dangerous) that the marriage took place in an Anglican Church.  She was born abt 1830 (although this date changes...) in Budleigh Salterton, Devon.

Any help at all would be really appreciated.

Researching the descendants of John Eddie Kennedy & Jean Burns of Falkirk, Denny and Kilsyth.  They were married 15 Feb 1822 in Cumbernault, Dunbarton, Scotland.  They had 12 children - 4 died young, 2 followed their husbands to Australia and 6 came to Canada with them in 1852/3.  Any help at all is appreciated.  Thanks!

I am sorry to say that what you are asking for is an almost impossible task for someone- let me explain,
You have found a marriage entry in the BMD indexes, December quarter 1862, to start with that covers a three month period ending in December, and in Newton Abbot, but this is the registration district (not necessarily the town).
The registration district of Newton Abbot stretched from Torquay on the coast to almost the middle of Dartmoor. It contains very many possible marriage venues from the Register Office itself in Newton Abbot to all the parish and other churches within the district, (I believe it is close to 100 venues)

Your best way of finding the details of the marriage is to order the marriage certificate from http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/#0               
quoting the names and reference- December quarter 1862 Newton Abbot 5b 217.
Note you cannot order from the local office, because you do not know the venue.
