Full census details should be included in any lookup request - not just the reference.  It is easier if we can see the contents as part of your request

Sorry - additional info

I pickup up the 1851 info from someone else's lookup request originally on another person on the Liverpool & SW Lancs FH forum - which I cam across doing a google search on Williams son William Edward Davies.

Looking at the Liverpool FHS website - the originator and yourself appear to have a common interest in the same family and you have already made contact with him via that website.  He already has all available info so I am puzzled as to why you are posting here for a lookup:

Quote
I've been to the library today and found William and Harriet Davies (nee Brick) and family on the 1871 1881 and 1891 census so I've been able to fill in a few gaps.

This couple did not marry until 1846 so will not be together on the 1841 census and  the 1841 for Harriet has already been posted on the link you gave

As you already know - there are a couple of possibilities for Williams parentage so you need a copy of William & Harriet's marriage cert to establish his fathers name before any further searching can be done into his ancestry

To prevent any duplication of information and efforts - it is always best to confine your queries to one message board in the early stages of research
