Hi All,
Can someone please try have find "ELiza Wright" born abt 1832 in Chelmsford. Her age would be abt 9 years. I do not know at this point who her parents were, so I am hoping for some answers from the 1841 census.

Frances Wright 30 not born in county

Did you buy the certificate? In Jan 2007 you were going to, but may have changed your mind:

Without the certificate Eliza Wright is too common a name to be sure that you have the correct person. In 1851, for instance, there are at least three Eliza Wrights born in the Chelmsford district at about the right time.

Hi,
I had forgotton all but my earlier request about getting the marriage certicate for William Barnes and Eliza Wright.
My Dad ended up having a Stroke and my mum has had breast cancer so all the reseaching has been put on hold until now.
I will get their marriage certicate as it will help in furthering this line. Thanks for all your help

Hi All,
I now have the marriage certificate for "William Barnes" and "Eliza Wright". They were married on the 25 November 1845 in Margaretting Essex.
Eliza Wright father was John Wright
William Barnes father was Joseph Barnes.
The wittnesses of the certificate were George Wright and Hannah Peagram.
I have now found out that George Wright was the brother of Eliza and Hannah Peagram was his then future wife.
So if anyone can help me with the 1841 Census on Eliza wright and it would be wonderful.
