anything useful in your other threads ?


You might want to consider places like Altrincham and Sale - also within the Bucklow Regn District.....

not really, his middle name was Mitchell  which was aslo passed onto his on son Robert born about 1897c, i am searching everywhere has i really do not know where they came from, i saw a Robert M shaw  1911c born Bucklow and they were lots of Shaw names also born there that is why i posted,  i am reluctant to waste more money on the 1911c having done so already but it looks as i will have to,

that might be easier searching for a Robert c1897, Father also Robert.


saw this - Altrincham District became BUCKLOW in 1898 .... no smoke w/o fire ?

nope - that Robert M has a Father Richard F. a Builders Clerk from Manchester) & mother Sarah

1901 - RG13/3321; Folio: 163; Page: 7 - Altrincham

Thank you so much for looking for me,
Robert M Shaw son came to Wales before 1911 as he married there he also had a son also Robert M Shaw, i rounded the age from his marriage certs etc, no trace is found after, i followed a lead in staffordshsire first when the birth cert came back no middle name of Mitchell on father or son, Robert the father`s occp. was labourer, i did get in touch with realtions of Robert Milne shaw , no luck there either, Thank you for your help,
