Note: I got some good feedback from a couple of people on the WRY list so shall mark this as completed.
I will post this request on the West Riding Yorkshire list also, since Finningley straddles both counties.
I come from a long line of Machins in Finningley and I have lots of information to share if anyone is interested. However, I'm stuck with a Miles Machin marrying an Esther Watson 27 Feb 1776. She came from Mansfield in Notts. but they were married in Finningley.
I can find 7 children of theirs, and Esther's birth (1752) and parents, but nothing about Miles himself.
Does this register with anyone by any chance?
