I have been unable to track the marriage of:
Samuel King & Rose Bower Soanes (Soan/Soane/Sones etc)
Rose Bower Soanes was baptised in Corton in 1772 and with Samuel had two children baptised in Corton in 1795 and 1799 and then a son baptised in Gorleston in 1800. They later moved to Great Yarmouth.
If someone has these registers or for nearby parishes I would be most grateful if you could please have a check.
Many thanks, Jon

When glancing through the Corton parish register, I noticed the following later baptism. The mother's name jumped out so I made a note of it in case it helps with a later generation.
Sarah d/o William and Bower Eaves (late Soanes) born 10th February, baptised 24th February 1817 Father = a fisherman

Thank you so much for this information. You know I have wondered about this marriage for over a decade now so it was great to finally know when it occurred.
There is not much hope at tracking Samuel's origins I fear, as he doesn't appear to have been of Corton originally but that's just one of those things. I know he must have died in Yarmouth so maybe when his burial turns up it'll bring a clue.
Thanks again, Jon
