Hi

Would anyone be able to look up in the parish registers the marriage between James Capon and Marie Catherine Beaumont 24th July 1825 at St Matthews, Ipswich.

If there is any information on them, parents or witnesses anything which might give me a lead to the next generation.  I don't know where James was born (he was a sailor so guess it could have been anywhere) and Marie was born in Suffolk according to 1841 census (a widow).
Any info on this family would be greatly received.

Taken from parish register of St Matthews, Ipswich:

James Capon bachelor of this parish
Maria Catharine Beaumont spinster of this parish
were married in this church by banns on the 24th day of July 1825

James (signed)
Maria (made her mark)

In the presence of Letitia Bardwell, Francis Bardwell  (both signed).

The witnesses didn't lead to anything!

Do you have access to parish registers that you might be able to find the birth of either James or Marie?  If you do I would be very grateful if you were able to look them up for me.

Anne very kindly lookups for folk when she visits the Suffolk Record Office.  Trawling through microfilms on their behalf.  She is a saint and works tirelessly for you all!  To make life easier for her, would you mind making a new request for the baptismal lookups?
