Hi Karen

We have attempted to help with one before

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,382905.0.html

Have you the 1937 marriage certificate?  It should give you Audrey's place, date of birth and parents' names.

11701/1937
ANDERSON  Edmund Leander
WHITE     Audrey May
District Sydney

A transcription is a cheaper option

is there a way i can get  census for around that time  of her marriage to Edmund Anderson, maybe her children are named from first marriage on this.

not sure as how i can track her down,as the i did write to the cemetery  in scone and have had no reply.

Hi Karen

From NSW bdm website

Info on Marriage Certs in NSW - it would be the same for a 2nd marriage

http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/certificateDatesAndContent.htm

No surviving census in Australia for that period.  I checked the electoral rolls for Edmund on the previous thread and there was no enrolment for an Audrey May WHITE.  They were married in 1937.  Electoral rolls are only available online for NSW for years 1930 and 1936.

It is disappointing when organizations don't respond to enquiries.  I have just spoken to the Scone Visitor Centre who advise that the library have the cemetery records.

Hi Karen,

I have marriage certificate for a female rellie who was twice married.  Second marriage in 1919 in NSW, and yes it lists her full birth name, her birth place, her parents names and birthplaces, and that it was her second marriage and that she was the petitioner in her divorce that disolved that first marriage.

Hope that helps, but if I were you, I would get that second marriage, perhaps as a transcript as that is around half the price of the certificate.  NSW BDM transcripts are very good....   - that's Just Moi Opinion of course.

Cheers,

Bit More,

If that 1968 death is for your Audrey, then from the NSW BDM online index, it seems her mother's first name was Christina.
This is the online index reference for death of Audrey May Anderson 673/1968, the index shows that the informant did not know Audrey's father's name.

I will try a quick search online for a Mrs Christina Hart.

Back soon,

Hi Karen

I'm afraid I have not found an obvious Mrs Christina Hart online on the NSW 1930 or 1936 electoral roll - I was hoping to, to then be able to suggest a possible name for Audrey's dad, sorry, guess you need to wait for that marriage cert.

Cheers,

JM

Hello  there Karen
I am not sure as to what you are looking for here,
Are you looking for her death?
Or  are you wanting to research her parentage?

Hi Jenn,  I am trying to see if she had any children to Arthur Henry White. as to be able to make contact with any living relatives, Audrey was married to my gguncleEdmund Anderson and his family never knew or heard of him when left nz in 1916.

but going from his marriage C he must of knew of his family back home as he has put down his mother was dead, and she didnt die till 1929, so i wander how he knew that.
