William is not enrolled to vote.
William EICKE is buried in the Mt Barker Cemetery

WELL Done Dee, thats neat thanks,
still has me baffled why she left both familys in Adelaide and go to Sydney,who help surport her ,with the kids.
did she follow her son when he was old enough in 1930s,as she remarried edmund anderson in 1937.
maybe her son went to war,yes i see he did in 1942-1946 from sydney,
so he did come with his mother to sydney, wander what year?
who did his sister Marjorie may married if any as shes died before 1968 and where?

1913 Electoral Roll for Adelaide.
EICKE Christina Licenced Victualler at the Royal Hotel. No other Eickes listed.
I tried other rolls and could not spot her around Adelaide. I also tried for HART particularly, in the preceding years to the 1946 death Dee has provided, without any luck. I did only look in the Adelaide district.

Hi Karen,
I only checked the Adelaide district as that is where she seems to be. To check Electoral Rolls you need to know the district - Even then there are a lot of subdistricts within the district to check. There were no other Eicke's at the address. I did not check other districts. He died in Mt Barker so perhaps he was registered there. Being in hospital should not affect his listing on an electoral roll, provided he was registered.
Funny these registrations are all just for her (directories and electoral rolls) No sign of a husband.
There was no marriage for Marjorie listed in SA 1937 which is the cut off point. She may have married after that time, but afraid that information is not available.

my thinking was if i could see her married or a death for Marjorie then we know when they left SA.
yes its strange when it comes to her parents Hart or Eicke seams a mix up there whos who.and when they feel like calling them selves what?
thanks again ,maybe we will never know what really happen there.

so is anyone able to get a contact for them. might be my only way filling the missing peices
