ANKER in Whittlesey
« on: Saturday 26 September 09 08:05 UTC (UK) »

I am trying to trace the parents and siblings of Abraham ANKER born in Whittlesey about 1782. His wife was probably Frances (Fanny) Hollis). There is a suggestion the family may have been originally called Anchor

Is there any evidnce in the Parish records?

Many thanks Alan

Thank you

... and a similar number on Ancestry.co.uk
However the problem is that I cannot be certain who has the correct information - especially as many have no source confirmation. Some consider the family to be Anchor and one even has Abraham Anker as the only son with that spelling

... hence my request
