Francis Goodacre 1811~1878

I am hoping to discover a little more about my great great grandfather Francis Goodacre.  He was born in Aisby/Haydor, Lincolnshire c1811.  In 1841 he was an Agricultural labourer living in Haydor with his wife Elizabeth nee Jessop.

Elizabeth died in Billingborough in 1850 and Francis remarried to Alice nee Hallett.  In the 1851 census he is living in the High St Billingborough described as a General dealer.  In the 1861 and 1871 census returns he is still in the High St described as a General dealer/Boot maker.  He died in Billingborough in 1878.

Does anyone have access to a trade directory (Such as Whites) or similar in which his business might be listed or shown.

I have found him on page 33 of the 1868 Post Office Directory.  Unfortunately it does not provide me with any additional information.  He is listed under "Commercial" as a shopkeeper and shoe maker in High St.  There are a total of 6 Goodacres listed with businesses in Billingborough who may all be related.
