At that time Moggerhanger was a hamlet of Blunham, Beds. The IGI at www.familysearch.org has a Thomas Gammond baptised on 26 July 1818 at Blunham, son of Thomas and Sarah. Why should there be a link with Woolley, Hunts, 20 miles away?

Other than that I don't follow what you're asking for - the mixture of upper and lower case makes it hard to follow.  Can you be more specific? Were there two separate families?

Thomas gammons 1819  moggerhammer   is  related  some  how  to  john  gammons  born 1844 wooley
but  i cannot  work  out  how,   the next generation and  census   include  not  only  thomas,s  children  but  johns  also  after  his  death  in  1868.

In 1851 John Gammons 6 born and living in Woolley, is shown as the son of William Gammons 32 born and living in Woolley.

Why do you think there's a connection with Thomas Gammons from Moggerhanger

I'm lost!

Who died in 1868 ?  it's not Thomas of Moggerhanger as he's alive on 1871 census living in Beds (*) , & it's not John as I've found him also on 1871 living with his widowed mother Elizabeth in Wooley, wife Mary Ann & 1 yr old daughter Ada Jane.  I suggest it is John's father William who died.

* see http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,406873.0.html

Going forward to 1881 John & Mary Ann plus Ada are living in Ecclesfield Yorks, with a couple more children.

So where's the link between Thomas's & John's children,
Can you post clear details of what you know & so we can be more productive.

Cheers John
