Does anyone have a Mary Ann Corfield in their tree (born around 1847/8).  Father - Thomas, mother - Jemina?  Married Enoch Tranter at National School Room, Wellington 15 July 1866.

I have found a reference to an Enoch Tranter on one of the cds I have.

Enoch Tranter-30.09.1865 Wellington Journal-Newspaper Article- Donnington Wood-Assaulted Helen Lowe ! Shocked

This is worth looking into !

The cds are available from www.salopian.info/index.htm

They cost £25 each and there is an index of the info and names on each, so you know if they are going to be of any use to you.
